Install ProM 6.9 tool on macOS
ProM 6.9 framework runs on java 7 and many packages (functions that are provided in ProM tool) but as ProM 6.9 is targeted at researchers and contains more functionalities than ProM lite it requires java 8 or higher version of java installed on your mac to make use of all the all the latest prototype that are present in ProM 6.9.
After installing java 8 or higher version, visit ProM tool website (link given below)
And navigate to Mac with 64 bit JRE8 and bundle app as shown in below picture. Click the file to start download.
After downloading the file unzip the file and open terminal
in terminal navigate to the file path where you have downloaded and unzipped the file.
After navigating the file in terminal run the .sh file present in folder
use command
> sh filename.sh
in terminal and new window will be opened with ProM tool UI.
